ghdash
A terminal dashboard for GitHub — repositories, open pull requests and your review inbox across orgs and users, in Rust with ratatui and the GraphQL API.
Why
All open PRs and review requests in one terminal view — and safe to show on a stream: a visibility mode keeps private repository names off the screen entirely.
How
- An action channel: key events and background API results flow into one tokio channel, a pure
update(state, action)reducer returns side effects, and the screen re-renders. Side effects run as tasks capped by a semaphore. - Visibility is filtered server-side with
is:public/is:privatesearch qualifiers, not after the fact, and the cache is keyed by visibility — so private data is never fetched in public mode. - Auth comes from
gh auth token, thenGITHUB_TOKEN, thenGH_TOKEN. A JSON disk cache with TTL, auto-refresh, include/exclude globs and GitHub Enterprise support. - Shipped through Homebrew and prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows.
